The Double Bookcase
$1850- This bookcase is a high impact piece. We have it standing in the front entryway of our home. It really sets the tone of a Craftsman style home. This piece stands 6 feet tall and 5 feet wide. It is about 13 inches deep. It was inspired by a double bookcase created by Gustav Stickley. Although, we have softened the original Stickley design by adding arched elements to the doors and under the bookcase. The hardware is also less dramatic than the original, but we really like the effect this hardware gives to the bookcase. Check out the close up shots of the hardware. Be sure to click the link next to the photo above to see more photos and information on the bookcase.

The Shirt Box
$500- Gustav Stickley sold a similar box which he referred to as a Shirt Box. This box has versatility way beyond shirts. We brought it home and liked the looks so well, it never left the center of our living room. For us, its a small coffee table that hides away the children's toys. I think many people would use it as a end table. What ever your plan, this is a stylish and durable storage box. Maybe you'll even keep your shirts in it. Be sure to click the link next to the photo above to see more photos and information on the shirt box.

The Small Box
$350- Almost everybody falls in love with this little box when they see it. It is an example of a whole lot of craftmanship packed into a little storage box. You can aslo keep all your treasures in it. Click the link above to see the details in the craftmanship. This box can really light up a room.

Children's Armchair Rocker
$750- This child sized rocker was partly inspired by my Great Grandma Fern. In 1907, five year old Fern received a beautiful, well made rocker for Christmas. The chair spent most of the 20th century holding a porcelain doll as Fern had no daughters and no granddaughters. In 1977, Fern proudly handed the chair to my 5 year old sister, Becky. Today, the chair holds dolls as well as Becky's 3 children. Fern would be proud to know that her great, great grandchildren still enjoy the little rocker as much as she did in 1907. This chair was also partly inspired by the creative folks at Disney. Disney's Grand Californian Hotel has beautiful child sized Craftsman style rockers next to its Grand Fireplace. They are wonderful little rockers for children to sit in while they listen to stories by the fireside. This chair is well constructed to last for your grandchildren. It has high a quality leather seat with springs. The chair should comfortably fit most children up to age 10-12. You won't find many children's rockers that can compare to this one for heirloom quality.

Adult's Armchair Rocker
$800- After creating the Children's Armchair Rocker (See Above). We knew we would need a matching chair for grandma and grandpa, or mom and dad. So we sized it up, and keep the same quality, the same leather seat with springs. It's a classic.

The Sewing Rocker
$500- This diminutive little chair is made for sewing, but it can do a lot more. Ours generally sits in the library in the corner, where it really dresses up the room. We love it because we can easily grab it and carry it to the family room where it usually goes when we're entertaining and need more seating. It's very comfortable and gets taken quickly during parties.

The Tall Chest Dresser
$2150- A really solid heavily constructed chest with slight taper along the sides. This chest has a thick, solid quality top, with stylish corbels on the corners. According to my wife's specifications, this chest has modern drawer hardware so the drawers all slide effortlessly. She shopped furniture stores for two years for the perfect chest for our girls before we gave up and designed exactly what we wanted. This chest was born out of that frustration. Actually, that was the beginning of Shady Grove Craftsman furniture. Click the link above to see the details of the solid bronze hardware, we really like it.

The Bevel Mirrored Dresser
$2750- Like the chest above, this dresser also has a stylish taper (it's slightly wider at the bottom) It has a thick, solid white oak top, with corbels on the corners. It has modern, easy sliding drawer hardware. But this dresser also has a beautiful beveled mirror in a lovely yet simple white quartersawn oak frame.Get your strongest friends to help you move this dresser. They'll be able to tell you about the solid construction of this piece. Again, check out the details on the solid bronze knobs. They will feel great in your hands. The rich antique bronze patina will wear gently over time to expose accents of shiny bronze. We're very proud of these dressers.

The Sideboard
$2200- Echoing many of the elements of the dressers, this sideboard will really set the tone in your dining area. We really like the shape of the top element which will really show off your best plates. My grandma would have called this the buffet, but we call it the sideboard. We have added a three minute Youtube video so you can get some idea of what this looks like in three dimensions.

Keep checking Back. We are continually designing new pieces for the collection. Thanks for Visiting.
